Christmas Eve.

Oh how I love thee.
That eve where you watch your favourite Christmas movie- like "Home Alone" or the "Grinch". The eve where you go to houses that are overwhelmingly bright with Christmas lights and have children with sticky hands eating ice-cream and candy canes.
The eve where young hearts leave out treats for Santa and his reindeer's and wrestle falling asleep.
The eve where hearts are glad as carols play
and the holy night -
where three wise men followed a night star to bring offerings to the greatest treasure ever known.
Have a very Merry Christmas.

Oh the Places You'll go

For my Aunty Lisa.
{Thank you}

I first read this book when it was sweetly placed on the end of my bed when I was visiting my Aunty and Gran.
Now immediately It had caught my affection and favour due to the illustration on the front of the book- A hot air balloon.
"Oh the places you'll go"
By the one and Only Dr. Seuss.
I love his playfulness, absurdness and imagination.

Penguin Classics

Now these are an eye catcher and heart stopper.
Just look at these stunning covers-designed by Coralie Bickford-Smith .
Some of the stories are by wonderful authors like Charles Dickens and Jane Austen.
Penguin Classics- A treat for Christmas.

Mumford & Sons

I have newly been introduced to a band who call themselves Mumford & Sons and I fell in love with their music.
They are an english folk rock band who much of their writing is inspired by other authors.
Oh and heres a fun fact: "Although the band members have claims on certain instruments, the members switch instruments during live shows according to convenience, for they each play a variety of instruments."
If you want to be changed then buy this album "Sigh no more".

Guys... Do I have some news for you.
This evening I got to help out setting up the soon to be opening anthropologie store in Chinook. And for those of you who may not be familiar with this store, you are going to wish you had come to know her sooner.
It is irresistibly delectable and wonderfully thrilling.
Absolutely everything caught my eye and had my attention.
They stock everything from candles, to hand painted home wares, cute stationary, rustic furniture, decorative jewellery and clothing.
Great Ideas for Christmas.

Neck of the woods

Neck of the Woods.
This is one store I truly miss visiting in Sydney.
However it is full of Christmas goodies and trinkets.

Like these cushions made by Sasha White (I think this is the Sasha White I know-Sash well done you!) These cushions are all hand made and have hand stitched graphics.
How sweet would these look on a couch, chair or a bed.

Kawaii

"Kawaii"
Means cute or pretty in Japanese and this little lace doily stamp is definitely "Kawaii".
You can find it at "cu-te-ta-pe" (Pronounced as koo-teh-tah-pee) The home of Japanese and Korean stationary, design and crafts.
And I haven't even told you the best part..its only 12 dollars.
Nice.

How about..

A tea set..
How sweet are these little sets...
Couldn't you just imagine sitting at a grandly decorated table with a lace table cloth, raspberry macaroons and lady's fingers trimed with jam and dusted with iceing sugar.
Maybe you could even wear a pair of your grandmas gloves.
I sure could.

The Perfect Christmas Gift/s

Seeing as Christmas is but 25 days away, I thought I'd have a little fun and feature things that I think would be good Christmas gifts to give or to receive.
Whether they may be stocking fillers, Gift Basket treats or the entire, full blown gift..I hope that you each feel inspired to be creative when it comes to giving this Christmas.
