Up Up and away

Found on i like nice things-Alyssa has a brilliant eye for talent and fun.
Photos from Wildflowers photography.

How adorable are these.
I wonder if they have a cute story behind this inspiration from "up".
Like maybe its their favourite movie or maybe they met at the theatre- they were going each by themselves cause they were afraid to ask their friends and be considered a dork or dweeb and then they ended up sharing popcorn and falling in love.
How romantic.

Paper Fun

Here are some lovely cards and stationary sets to get your little hands on.
Who wants to help me revive traditional letter writing??
Please contact me and we can become pen pals.
Remember pen pals and passing notes in class, secret love letters or even waking up to a letter left from your cousin on the dinning table as she left to go home early before you woke?
There is certainly something very special about writing letters or receiving one in the post. They are written forms of someones thoughts, life and heart.
I wish to one day be sent a secret letter in the claws of an owl or one that has washed up on the shore in a bottle or a sky writer to write me a letter across the sky.
My dad on my parents wedding day sent my mum a telegram..One day I hope to know what it said.

What have I been up to?

Mr. Flamingo
He is not afraid of pink.

Lets play dress ups

We will sail to distant lands
and explore this known world and the hidden places yet to be found.
Today my friend Alex and I did a photo shoot for a college assessment.
This is some of what happened...

Isn't she lovely!
Isn't she wonderful.

Pulp Life

Fitted out with 70’s buffets and lamps, tattered old Persian rugs and Parker and Chiswell furniture, you get the distinct feeling you’re snooping around someone’s lounge room.

My favourite store Pulp Creative Paper is expanding/has a new store souly dedicated to home wares and all things creative. And her name is Pulp Life. It is like you have been caught in a time warp or a broken time machine, there are collected items from all decades, all eras- a mix of everything.

There are ...Olive wood rolling pins, chopping boards and a bowl of vintage Nana spectacles look perfect together. Rich colourful string and spool sets, handmade fabric cranes, screen printed tea towels and vintage afghan rugs accompany raw wood and stainless steel garden accessories and handmade owls made from granddads old jumper.

Oh take your self down Pittwater road, pull up and go hunting in this store that's just like a treasure chest or a hidden attic.
Could it be that we are turning back to appreciating hand made items and their more of these mass produced things I say.

Stamp Set

I bought a new stamp set the other day and I am very excited to use it all through my art and in the journals I am making. Although I got home the evening I bought them and had left them on the floor in my room from testing them out and my dog had chewed one of them..butt head!
Oh well the 'r' still works.
Do you like?

Ive been meaning..

Ive seen these exciting cards around and have been meaning to write to you about them and give them the attention they truly deserve..They are...drum roll...(do it in your head please) Scratchie Cards By "TMOD"-(sorry to those of you who this is old news to).
They are fun and exciting and much better than trying to win $2.
The scratchie cards feature 'old world mechanical illustrations of hot air balloons, cuckcoo clocks and castles with jungle fauna such as tigers, birds and butterflies.
The range includes birthday wishes, thank yous and thinking of you cards. where to buy?
They also mingle and dabble in jewellery design.

I would just like to make known how much I love and treasure my friends...I got 2 really lovely surprises in the last few weeks..One of my friends Tammy, who I think was meant to be born in the fifties ordered me Frankie's Latest cook book "sweet treats" and surprised me with it at work! what a Darling and another lady who I hold close to my heart Abi she sent me a wonderful letter all the way from new Zealand-hand written- One of my most favourite things in the world. And to the rest of you..I really adore you. Where ever you are in this world I love and miss you.
The End.

dear world,
i like the idea that somewhere, you're hiding my love! sometimes, i imagine that we're doing the same mundane things at the same time...waiting as the time counts down until the day that we finally meet.
that makes the whole world beautiful to me.
thank you
