My latest inventions

These are my latest inventions. So as I may have told you I am now making journals! There is none like the other. They are all hand made and each one unique. There will be more to come and if you would like to buy one just shoot me an e-mail and we can arrange something. There will be a range of sizes also. love love

I don't know why but today I found myself totally obsessed with yellow. I saw so many yellow things and I collected some pretty yellow leaves. I love autumn and the noise that crunchy leaves make under your feet.

Lets get lost in hats like these

Gee Golly Gosh have a look at these fun and exciting head pieces.
Artist Zara of Chatham Girl- what a talent you are.
I would love to pass someone on the street wearing any of these unique and wonderful creations. Its like Nautical meets mystical or fantasy.
How inspiring.

Big Bows and Other Talent

Jono Winnel really knows how to capture this beauty, the one with ebony black hair and painted red lips. what a stunner. I love love love the new range of hair accessories entitled Hopelessly Devoted dreamed up and made by Gaby Adamidis-(check out her store on etsy) Each piece is just remarkable and so sweet. My advice treat yourself to some lovely hair accessories or even a sleeping mask. what more could a girl want?

Finally my very own eyes have seen

I know I am a late in I only saw Alice in Wonderland this afternoon. I don't know why it took me so long..maybe because I heard mixed reviews-alot more negative than positive, however I wanted to decide for myself, so off I went. I thought it was visually stunning. What an imagination Tim and the team have. These were the things I loved the most. The tiny cake she ate-which looked like a mini wedding cake, the garden-what magic- the faces on the flowers and the collection of coloured thread the Mad Hatter wore ontop of his jacket- loved it. I think it was mostly the visual and cinematography that kept my curiosity alive. I didn't mind the story, a bit dark for my taste-but that's Tim for you. The visuals - 9/10 out of 10!
What did you think?
Who was your favourite?

Frankie:Sweet Treats

How could a kitchen be complete without Frankie's latest kitchen collectable "Sweet Treats". Just imagine it sitting on the bench open on your favourite recipe and baking for your friends and you to enjoy.
Now this is no ordinary book, it's one that contains tuck shop treats, carnival sweets and delicious finger licking goodies...Such as Candy Hearts, Sticky Apples and Honey Comb- How scrummy. (quote Hannah D.)
Can't wait to get it and see what else there is. mmm yum.

Rob Ryan

Now this is a man I'd like to get lost in the woods with.
I imagine he would see wonderful silhouettes why he'd even point them out to you and he would tell you stories, ones with happy endings.
I actually only realised I purchased one of his creations in card form and have it framed on my dresser not that long ago, but I am going to claim that I am now his number one fan.
Rob Ryan is featured in the latest issue of "Inside Out" magazine (their 10th anniversary issue-with an art auction) and when you purchase it you receive a tea towel with one of his design on it! what a treat.
He is full of heart felt words and his hands make delicate beauty. check out more of his work at his website "mister rob".
Oh and can you imagine the card he would give you for valentines day.
You sweep me away Rob Ryan.

Cake with Giants

Amy likes to eat cake with Giants.
This IS firstly the best title for a blog I think I have ever heard "Cake with Giants" and secondly I love looking at this blog, it is so lovely.
It is a collection of sweet little bits and pieces, art, photography and things that shouldn't be kept secret.
Do yourself a favour and go and have cake with giants and her shop called Vanilla Bug.

now here's a thought...

Now here's a thought, what if the clouds became gentleman's moustaches and stayed in the sky by twirly pole sticks..
this is a photo from the styling course I have been doing this year. we had to style for 4 different jewellery pieces-here is one of my 4.
Oh and welcome to Laura-Louisa Betts. I like your name.
