Her Secret Garden.

So this is the final finished framed artwork I was telling you about.
I called it "Her Secret Garden."

Romance was born.

I saw a chalk board on the side of the street.. and in white writing it stated "Romance was born", instantly I was captured.
Where was this place that kept all these fascinating and extravagant clothing..the kinds that you wouldn't necessarily see on an ordinary person on the street, but the kind that maybe if you fell off a sail boat and into the sea you would see on a passing fish or a mermaid brushing her hair in a grotto full of discarded treasures.
I found the door that was accompanied by a long hallway, that's paint was pealing off the walls covered in fish nets, shells and a pink neon sign that stated-"Romance was born", I knew it wouldn't be long until I would feel as though I had left the city and gone somewhere wonderful.
I was so astonished when I found myself in a room that was covered in shells, old china, flamingos, old phones, a long couch and a boy with blue hair, also covered in shells who greeted me. Now if you like doilies, pom poms, flowers and shells and have never heard of Romance was born check out their website and be inspired.

Merry Merry Christmas

I hope that you have a very merry Christmas full of everything you love and all those wonderful things that come only once a year like red ribbon, houses covered in Christmas lights, Nativity scenes, Christmas carols, church productions, red suits, freshly baked cookies, ginger bread frappachinos (from Starbucks) family lunches and drummer boys. Maybe even snow for some of you. May your day be full of all the things you love and I hope that you discover the joy of Christmas.
Elise.
(Ps. Dalyce and Alyssa i love you)

If you could of..

If you could have been the origional writer of any story already made and told..what would it have been and why?

I wish I thought of Peter Pan, The Wizard of Oz and Alice in Wonderland..why because they are full of very beautiful and sweet things.

Thoughts

This morning I had strawberries on toast with cinnamon sugar! oh it is divine! you should try it sometime. It is my favourite.

Now this is just a thought I had earlier this afternoon. I am actually really craving to be whisked away to another world. To a land that I can explore and to a land that will teach me and inform me of new things I have never known. A place to discover new secrets and see new things. I am craving to get lost in my art. I need to go to my studio and create. My fingers are itching.
Another thought..i want to write a book...maybe even many.

Im in love with a man called fred

I'm in love with a man called Fred.
To be honest I'm not even sure if the genius behind all these creative and wonderful designs is called Fred, never the less I am in love with him.
I have seen in many different shops Fred products scattered around the place. The designs are clever and have much thought behind them to peoples needs and they are fun and very creative! Well done Freddy boy. Go check out the website and have a shop online -only if you have a credit card or debit! or keep a close eye out for products in local shops.

Thoughts on paper.

Do yourself a favour and go check out "Rebound books".
Each one handmade from little golden books- remember those- (i still collect them)... your book shelf was full of them when you were a kid! I mostly like looking at them because they bring back memories of when i was little and being read a story every night- how remarkable. if only it was still. what a treat to get to write in them everyday and read your favourite story along the way. everything from day diaries to notebooks and pocketbooks to write your mind and hearts thoughts.
how delightful.

Made590

I stumbled across this store also at finders keepers. actually it grabbed all of my attention, it very much stood out, maybe because of its bright colours and cute nick nacks. check out their shop in Newtown, Sydney and their blog- it is a lot of fun. They sell everything from mens and womens clothing, love heart measuring cups, paper doily desk calenders, squirrel nut crackers to stuffed mouses and owls (smaller versions of what youd'e find in your dads den accompanied by a snooker table and a bar)

In an instant

I found "in an instant photography" (who is run by a girl called Jess) at the finders keepers markets and totally feel in love with her portable photo booth. She had a dress up box full of treasures and costumes that you could rumage through and dress up in. You could get Polaroids taken and fun snapshots dressed up in bits and bobs while you giggle with your friends.
What a treat for a party! check out her website.

where in the world?

Where in the world?
I feel like I have drifted away lately and haven't blogged anything special or fun, so here goes.
I am currently sitting in my backyard having a vintage and second hand clothes sale! I am eagerly awaiting more customers to try on clothes and costumes.

jimminy cricket

There are crickets and creatures hiding in amoungst your garden.
Where the honey suckles grow and the beetle bugs jitter.
Little do you know they live in hollow trees with their houses inside.
Jam and trinkets they sell it all and where can you find this is Miss Lady Bugs store.
Fire Flies float like paper lanters do and Jitter bugs dance as you imagine they do.
Under mushrooms you can find creatures who have eyes like kaleidoscopes.
though Im not sure of their name as they arent in science books.
There are things in this world our eyes have never gazed upon,
but if you look closely I know you will see.

Good Find.

I stumbled across these incredible books in one of my favourite shops and adored everyone that I picked up - which was all of them. This is all because of a man by the name of M. Sasek.
M.Sasek worked as a painter and illustrator for most of his life. Starting with This is Paris published in 1958, the books he wrote painted a delightful and evocative picture of some of the world's great cities and countries!- Everything from New York, to Ireland and even Australia. Pick up a book if you can, as he'll take you on an adventure to the cities you've always wanted to go to.

Love Letters.

this is such a beautiful website where people pour out their hearts and secrets to their crushes. some are lame, some arent poetic, but some make your heart drop.

These are by far some of my favourites:

October 24
red-haired boy in the supermarket,
you’re my favorite. i like that you stock the milk aisle. i like that you look at me a little when i pretend to deliberate between 2% and skimmed.
i like your hands. i sometimes pretend we’re married. and i kiss you when you’re off to work, to stock the milk.
alright.
— green-eyed girl in the supermarket

To girl:
"you’re beautiful. you’re beautiful the way sunlight falling silently across a rumpled bed sheet is beautiful, honest and surreal. i hope one day we’ll know each others’ names."
Love Boy.

September 12
boy,
You are the peanut butter to my jelly. The Bert to my Ernie. The honey to my bee.
— girl

September 1
silly boy,
you really have no idea.
— head over heels

The End.

How wondeful are these stills from the end of movies. I enjoy these very much. I found them on flickr.
